Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing human resource support.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Assists with recruiting talent; maintains online application system, schedules interviews, maintains job files for open and closed positions.
Assists with researching, developing and administering training programs across various departments.
Conducts new hire orientation.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Maintains employee, job requisition, I-9, worker's compensation, and all other human resources files.
Coordinates employee events and recognition programs.
Keeps track of open workers compensation claims by maintaining files, tracking follow-up appointments and communicating updated workability information.
Maintains safety documentation for incidents and investigations; keeps management informed of follow-up needed.
Assists in responding to Unemployment mailings.
Ensures compliance of all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
Facilitates a positive work environment through existing employee programs as well as assisting in implementation of new programs and ideas to foster a great working environment.
Devotes the necessary time on the floor to stay connected to business processes and the employees Other projects or duties as assigned Recommended Skills Business Processes Claim Processing Communication Customer Service Human Resources Research Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
